From March 31st to April 4th, the "Keys to Success" week was held, aimed at recipients of the Active Solidarity Income (RSA). For the sixth year, this career week is being organized by the Pas-de-Calais Department in collaboration with France Travail and all stakeholders involved in employment, training, and integration in the region.
It was on this occasion that on Friday March 4, RSA beneficiaries participating in the operation were able to discover a preview of the future Maison du Canal de Marquion.
The SCSNE teams then presented them with the numerous job opportunities emerging with the start of construction on the Seine-Nord Europe Canal in Artois-Cambrésis.
A variety of jobs will be required for its construction: pipe fitters, VRD (roads and various networks) masons, machine operators and formworkers.
In total, more than 1600 people will be mobilized across the region, and even more for jobs in the hotel, catering and security sectors.
