Call for projects “Planting and replanting of production afforestation”

The Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe is launching a second call for projects “Planting and replanting of production afforestation” in order to carry out afforestation in partnership with landowners in the departments of Oise and Nord. The Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe will finance the planting, in return for a sustainable management commitment from the owner over a period of 15 years.

The Seine-Nord Europe Canal Company, in accordance with the commitments made under the Declarations of Public Utility and regulatory requirements, is planning a series of compensatory measures for the land clearing necessary for the canal's construction. It has chosen to implement these measures through planting and replanting, in order to contribute to the maintenance and development of the regional timber industry.

The deadline for submitting applications is March 31, 2022. Projects will be selected according to the criteria detailed in the documents below:
