From December 1 to 22, 2021, on the territory of the municipalities of Ytres, Sains-les-Marquion, Sauchy-Lestrée, Ruyaulcourt, Oisy-le-Verger, Marquion, Havrincourt, Hermies, Graincourt-les Havrincourt, Bourlon, Bertincourt (Not- de-Calais) Aubencheul-au-Bac, Haynecourt, Moeuvres (North), a plot survey was organized to determine the plots or real estate rights to be expropriated, as part of the implementation of the Canal Seine-Nord Europe project.

The pre-project studies have been completed in the departments of Nord and Pas-de-Calais, and have been able to determine the right-of-way for the future Canal. The Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe must therefore become the owner of the plots concerned before starting the civil engineering works.
In order to identify and inform the owners concerned, a plot survey will take place from Wednesday 1er December to Tuesday, December 22, 2021 included, corresponding to a length of 28 km, i.e. the 14 Commons following: Ytres, Sains-les-Marquion, Sauchy-Lestrée, Ruyaulcourt, Oisy-le-Verger, Marquion, Havrincourt, Hermies, Graincourt-les Havrincourt, Bourlon, Bertincourt (Pas-de-Calais) Aubencheul-au-Bac, Haynecourt , Moeuvres (North).
This plot survey will focus on plots that are not included in a land, agricultural, forestry and environmental development perimeter and which must be acquired directly by Société du Canal Seine Nord Europe, ie 99 plots, corresponding to 87 owners.
This survey also includes for your information for owners, parcels that are included in a land, agricultural, forestry and environmental development perimeter (AFAFE). These plots will not be subject to direct acquisition but to a land exchange within the framework of the land development procedure carried out by the departments of Nord and Pas-de-Calais. This concerns 1292 plots.

The Seine-Nord Europe Canal Company teams were again on the ground between September 20 and October 6, 2021 to exchange with the inhabitants and present to them the progress of the project. More than 450 people were met during the 18 proposed dates, including the central cities of the 3 intermunicipalities crossed by the project (Bapaume, Vitry en Artois and Cambrai).
