Once built, the Seine Nord Europe Canal will allow the development of economic activities along the canal, thus benefiting from the competitiveness of large-gauge river transport. Multimodal platforms that will make it possible to develop economic activities linked to the waterway, road and rail will be created. They will complement the existing network of multimodal platforms in Hauts-de-France, Oise and Ile-de-France. In this context, the “Grand Chantier” approach will also aim to prepare companies to use river transport. The site will thus be an opportunity to use this mode of transport to supply the site. 

The Canal Entreprises system, set up with the support of the CCI of the Hauts-de-France region and the Hauts-de-France region, aims to support companies wishing to participate in the project.
