Walks on the route of the Canal in Artois-Cambrésis

Discover season 2 of the operation "We walked on the Canal!"

As part of the various meetings offered to the inhabitants of Artois and Cambrésis, the Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe is organizing two commented walks.

The objective: to discover the Canal and its “in-situ” facilities.

June 24 – Walk in Moeuvres (4,5 km), meet at rue d'En Haut from 14 p.m. to 00 p.m.

Registration recommended at the Cambrésis tourist office on 03.27.78.36.15

July 8 – Walk in Hermies (4,5 km), meet near the Uneal field, from 13 p.m., 30 p.m. or 14 p.m.

Registration required at the Bapaume tourist information office on 03.21.59.89.84. Indeed, groups are strictly limited to 30 people in order to offer the best reception and safety conditions during the hike.

These hikes are free and open to as many people as possible.

Practical advice for participants

Bring good walking shoes and clothing adapted to the expected weather conditions on the day of the hike.
Some routes may present accessibility difficulties. You can inquire in advance at the tourist offices indicated above.
