Within the framework of the different meetings offered to the inhabitants of Noyonnais, the Seine-Nord Europe Canal Company is organizing a commented hike on July 8, 2023 in Noyon. The objective: to discover the Canal and its “in-situ” facilities. You are interested ? Discover all the practical information.
The hike will start in the Beauséjour district and will be punctuated by time for discussions and information on the landscape insertion of the Canal, the bridges and road restorations, the environmental facilities or the Noyon lock.
Three departures are offered at 14 p.m., 14:30 p.m. and 15 p.m.
The route is about 4,5 km long and it takes between 1h30 and 2h to complete the route. For each departure, the number of participants is strictly limited to 30 people maximum in order to offer the best reception and safety conditions during the hike.
These hikes are free. However, to participate, registration is obligatory, via the site of the Pays Noyonnais Tourist Office in the Oise valleys, partner of the operation. This event is now complete but we will not fail to renew this type of operation soon.
Bring good walking shoes and clothing adapted to the expected weather conditions on the day of the hike.
A bottle of water will be provided to each participant.
