Discover the canal route on a stroll

To help people discover the Canal and its "in-situ" facilities, the Seine-Nord Europe Canal Society is continuing to organize guided tours.

Meet on Saturday, July 19 for a ride on the northern end of the route, in Aubencheul-au-Bac and Oisy-le-Verger (approximately 3,5 km). First departure at 13:45 p.m. from Aubencheul-au-Bac town hall (18 National Road).

These hikes are free and open to as many people as possible. Come and share this convivial moment and discover your Canal differently!

Practical advice for participants

  • Bring good walking shoes and clothing suitable for the weather conditions expected on the day of the hike (hat or cap to protect you from the sun).
    A backpack containing a bottle of water and a light snack will be given to you upon your arrival.
  • Some routes may present accessibility difficulties. You can inquire in advance at the tourist offices indicated above.
