Within the framework of the different meetings offered to the inhabitants of Santerre Haute-Somme, the Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe is organizing a guided hike on 17 June in Allaines. The objective: to discover the Canal and its “in-situ” facilities. You are interested ? Discover all the practical information.
The start of the hike will be at the Salle des Fêtes d'Allaines. This will be punctuated by time for discussion and information on the structuring works of the Canal at Allaines (Louette reserve, Allaines lock, marina), environmental facilities or even the management of materials and deposits.
Two departures are offered, à 10 a.m. and 14 p.m..
The route is about 4,5 km long and it takes between 1h30 and 2h to complete the route. For each departure, the number of participants is strictly limited to 30 people maximum in order to offer the best reception and safety conditions during the hike.
These hikes are free. However, to participate, registration is obligatory, at the Haute-Somme Tourist Office, partner of the operation, by telephone at +03 22 84 42 38 XNUMX or by mail accueil@hautesomme-tourisme.com
Bring good walking shoes and clothing adapted to the expected weather conditions on the day of the hike.
For organizational matters, please arrive at the starting point 15 minutes before the start of the hike.
