Exhibition: From one bank to the other, new bridges in Compiègne

From November 6, 2024 to January 4, 2025

Between Montmacq, Cambronne-lès-Ribécourt and Pimprez, four new bridges will allow you to cross canals and river by car, on foot or by bike. Go from one bank to the other through this new exhibition which traces the construction of these first works and presents a retrospective film of the operations of the last two years. 

The exhibition will be held at the Compiègne Canal House from wednesday 6th November 2024 Saturday 4th January 2025.

During the end of year celebrations, the Maison du Canal will be closed from December 21 to January 2, 2025.

Pratical information

The Maison du Canal welcomes you from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 13:30 p.m. to 17 p.m. at 27, Place d'Armes – 60200 Compiègne.

What is the Canal House?

Within the former Compiègne Staff School, the Canal House is a place of reception and information for the public which presents the main lines of the Seine Nord-Europe Canal, the details of its developments in Compiègnois and temporary exhibitions in a space shared with the Agglomeration of the Compiègne Region.
