The Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe (SCSNE), a local public establishment, is in charge of public project management of the future large-gauge 107 kilometer canal, an essential link in the major European waterway project called Seine-Escaut.
SCSNE is a young company (operational since 2017), dynamic, on a human scale, now with more than 90 employees who, each in their field of expertise, participate in the management and coordination of a major European project combining safety, performance, respect for the environment and innovation.

Sector 2 extends over a length of approximately 45 km crossing the departments of Oise, from Noyon and the Somme to the Somme valley and the future Canal Bridge. Its perimeter includes the SNCF restorations, a canal bridge, GRT Gas networks, three inland ports managed by the region, a stopover and a marina, as well as 30 road restorations.
The amount of work in this sector is estimated at approximately 750 million euros.
You will join a Sector Management composed of a director and an engineer. The composition of the team is intended to evolve during the construction phase.
You assist the sector director on a daily basis in coordinating and supervising all operations related to the sector. In this role, you ensure, within the defined scope, the delegation of project management functions for the design, construction and commissioning phases, until the transfer of the work to Voies Navigables de France (VNF).
Alongside the sector director, you are responsible for controlling costs, deadlines, quality and technical performance of the project, all in a demanding context in terms of safety and sustainable development including the constant concern to facilitate consultation and communication around territorial issues.
You act as the director in case of absence.

This position, based in Compiègne, is open to teleworking at a rate of 2 per week.
Travel to be planned in the Hauts de France region.
Participation in technical on-call
With a bac +5 engineer or Master's degree, you have several years of experience in managing complex projects, ideally within the framework of infrastructure operations.
In addition to your skills in major projects, you have the essential knowledge for practicing public markets and are able to effectively manage contracts.
Rigorous, endowed with an excellent capacity for synthesis and editorial fluency, you appreciate teamwork and in matrix mode.
Your negotiation skills are combined with an ability to report, alert and propose suitable solutions.
