Assistant to the Sector Director – MOA river infrastructure

You support the sector director on a daily basis in the coordination and supervision of all operations linked to the sector, whether TOARCs or water retention. As such, you ensure, within the defined scope, the delegation of project management functions for the design, construction and commissioning phases.

Alongside the sector director, you are responsible for controlling costs, deadlines, quality and technical performance of the project, all in a demanding context in terms of safety and sustainable development including the constant concern to facilitate consultation and communication around territorial issues.

You act as the director in case of absence.

You rely in your missions on:

• The master builder
• Project management assistance
• The project team dedicated to the sector, made up of members of the sector management and contributors from the business departments of the SCSNE

Your activities revolve around the following main areas:

Governance and management:

• Participation in project management bodies
• Supervision of the activities of future project managers
• Coordination with other interface sectors and third-party MOAs
• Contribution, in supervision of project managers, or where applicable directly, to the award phase of works contracts and related contracts, as well as to the contractual management of these contracts

Resource Planning:

• Contribution to the development of the schedule, in connection with the OPC management - commissioning, analysis and evaluation of delay differences, identification of solutions
• Contribution to the development of the budget execution, in connection with the finance department, analysis and evaluation of cost variances and identification of solutions

Risk management, control and reporting:

• Contribution to the identification and management of risks in close collaboration with the dedicated experts within the SCSNE and according to the defined risk management processes
• Participation in monitoring the control processes implemented as part of the project and contribution to audits led by the QHSE department
• Monitoring compliance with the project owner's obligations in terms of administrative and in particular environmental authorizations, in conjunction with the environment department

Partnership and communication:

• Contribution to the good performance of relations with all stakeholders and participation in actions led by the Europe Territories Partnership Department

This position, based in Compiègne, is open to teleworking at a rate of 2 per week.

Travel to be planned in the Hauts de France region.
