The Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe (SCSNE), a local public establishment, is in charge of public project management of the future large-gauge 107 kilometer canal, an essential link in the major European waterway project called Seine-Escaut.
SCSNE is a young company (operational since 2017), dynamic, on a human scale, now with more than 90 employees who, each in their field of expertise, participate in the management and coordination of a major European project combining safety, performance, respect for the environment and innovation.

The Human Resources and General Resources Department (HR-LMG Department) manages human and material resources according to the specific needs of the organization. It supports the Executive Board in defining the HR strategy and implements the employment and compensation policies decided by the Supervisory Board.
Working directly with the Director of Human Resources and General Resources, the HR Project Manager implements the HR strategy defined with the Executive Board, manages HR projects, and plays a key role in social dialogue. They are the primary contact for managers and teams on HR issues in their field. At the end of the project, they will participate in managing the workforce reduction phase.
Your activities revolve around the following main areas:
Project management
Employer branding and recruitment
Social dialogue
Advice and support for managers and employees
Reporting, HR indicators and budget monitoring
Structuring and monitoring activities
This position, based in Compiègne, is open to teleworking one day per week.
With a Master's degree in human resources management, you have at least 5 years of professional experience in similar roles. You have extensive knowledge of social and labor law, and are proficient in recruitment techniques.
Rigorous and proactive, you have excellent interpersonal skills and know how to adopt the appropriate posture for HR functions.
You enjoy working in a team and across departments and you are able to manage HR projects within the framework of constructive social dialogue.
You are able to easily grasp budgetary logic and your mastery of Excel allows you to organize the construction and monitoring of indicators with rigor and reliability.
