The Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe (SCSNE), a local public establishment, is in charge of public project management of the future large-gauge 107 kilometer canal, an essential link in the major European waterway project called Seine-Escaut.
SCSNE is a young company (operational since 2017), dynamic, on a human scale, now with more than 100 employees who, each in their field of expertise, participate in the management and coordination of a major European project combining safety, performance, respect for the environment and innovation.

SCSNE is recruiting 4 hydraulic works safety project managers to form a team in direct contact with the Director of Hydraulic Works Safety
The Hydraulic Structure Safety Project Manager, for their assigned area, is responsible for monitoring compliance with the environmental authorization order regarding the safety of hydraulic structures throughout all phases of the project. As the primary contact for the permitting authorities, they are responsible for monitoring the opinions of accredited bodies and ensuring consistency across the various dams under their responsibility.
Within a project team and in functional liaison with the sector directors, your activities are structured around the following main axes:
This position, based in Compiègne or Lille, is open to teleworking 2 days per week.
You have a degree at bac+5 level in the fields of geotechnics, hydrogeology or hydraulics and possess the essential knowledge in civil engineering and earthworks.
Rigorous, responsive, with strong analytical and synthesis skills, you enjoy working in project mode and across departments.
You also know the fundamental principles of the public procurement code, both in terms of awarding contracts and in terms of execution.
Permanent contract under private law – Framework status – SYNTEC collective agreement
Employment also accessible to civil servants through secondment (category A)
