Consultation of the first works contracts has been launched in the Somme

In anticipation of the major stages of work which will begin around 2026-2027, The consultation of companies with a view to awarding works contracts is being launched this year in the Somme.

Among the main batches, the following have been launched since spring 2025: Louette water reservoir, but also the construction market for the Allaines locks, the one on the CSNE and the lock which connects with the Canal du Nord.

The contracts for earthworks, civil engineering works and communications restoration (called TOARC) will also be launched in the second half of this year for sector 2 in the Somme, between Ercheu and Biaches, and for sector 3 between Allaines and Etricourt-Manancourt.

Many other consultations, of varying nature and size (environmental developments, archaeological excavations, temporary roads, etc.), are or will soon be undertaken.
