As every year in the Oise, several events supported by the partners of the Grand Chantier initiative (State, Region, Department, France Travail or the CCI) are organised to inform the territory of the employment and training opportunities offered within the framework of the construction of the Seine-Nord Europe Canal.
For the second half of 2025, two " A Chance for Employment! " events are being organized. Open to all interested parties, they will be held on the afternoon of June 19 in Montmacq , and then between October 6 and 10, 2025, during the Building and Public Works Trades Week.
During May, the SCSNE teams will also be present at the Employment and Training Forum organised by EPIDE on Thursday 22nd morning at Le Tigre (Margny-lès-Compiègne).
At the beginning of 2021, stakeholders from Compiègne-Noyon and SCSNE signed the first Territorial Development Contract (CTD) for the Seine-Nord Europe Canal, outlining the signatories' intentions and commitments to make the new waterway an opportunity for local development.
The implementation of this tool is monitored by a territorial committee which met on March 26. Co-chaired by Christian Guyard, Sub-prefect of Compiègne and Christophe Coulon, Vice-President of the Hauts-de-France Region, this committee provided an opportunity to present the progress of projects carried out by the territories, to take stock of the reception of the construction site and of the measures in favor of employment, training and integration, as well as on the economic and tourism opportunities linked to the Seine-Nord Europe Canal project.
