The Seine-Nord Europe Canal, an opportunity for integration employment

Published January 13 2022

First successful integration paths

Solidarity Channel, you know ? It's the professional integration system set up by the Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe and the Departments of Aisne, Nord, Oise, Pas-de-Calais, Somme and Val d’Oise.

The goal? Allow people far from the world of work to benefit from local employment and training opportunities offered by the construction of the Seine-Nord Europe Canal.

More than 44 hours have already been completed by nearly 000 beneficiaries of the integration clause within companies working on the design of the Canal or carrying out preparatory work for the site (project management, surveyor, geotechnical surveys, network detection, roads, etc.). Of the 3000 recruitments planned on the site, the equivalent of 300 to 600 FTEs are reserved for people in integration.

Discover their journey in the 4 episode series “Integration through employment, they tell us about it” :

  • #1 Jérémy Coulon, surveying technician beneficiary of the integration clause, and Guillaume Pavoine from Cabinet Latitudes:
  • #2 Thierry Delagouttière, Network detection operator at INGEO and beneficiary of the integration clause:
  • #3 Olivia Serrano, Project Assistant, and Thierry Lestoille from the company Egis:
  • #4 Nzeba Ndumbi, Integration Project Manager within the NGE Group:

An easier process for businesses
