The Sub-Prefect of Compiègne, Ghyslain Chatel, accompanied by the General Secretariat for Regional Affairs (SGAR) and the Seine-Nord Europe Canal Company, brought together the Territorial Committee of Noyonnais/Compiégnois on Thursday.
This body brings together both the elected representatives and the institutions of the territories involved in the major project approach of the Seine-Nord Europe canal project for the territory of Compiègne in Noyon. Its role is to support the SCSNE in the co-construction of the project with the communities and to prepare and coordinate all the actions for employment, integration, training, tourism, agriculture, the environment. for the construction phase and as part of the development of the project.
The meeting, which took place in the premises of the ESCOM (Higher School of Organic and Mineral Chemistry) in Compiègne, was an opportunity for the SCSNE to take stock of the progress of the project with the partners of the territories.
Representatives of the Canal emploi and Canal solidaire schemes, as well as the agriculture working group, discussed the progress of their respective themes and future prospects. Each working group, under the leadership of a leader, will bring together the partners to initiate the work of the group.
