The Territorial Committee of Artois-Cambrésis met in Arras

After the territorial committees of Noyonnais-Compiégnois on October 18 and Santerre – Haute-Somme on November 23, it was the turn of the territorial committee of Artois-Cambrésis to meet this Friday November 30 in Arras.

The meeting took place in the presence of Jean-Damien PONCET and Séverine Riche, members of the management board of the Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe, Xavier-Yves Valère, head of mission at SGAR (General Secretariat for Regional Affairs), Fabien SUDRY , prefect of Pas-de-Calais, Richard SMITH, sub-prefect, Jacques PETIT, regional elected official and mayor of Marquion and Pierre GEORGET, departmental councilor of Pas-de-Calais and president of the community of communes Osartis-Marquion.

The territorial committee brings together both the elected representatives and the institutions of the territories involved in the major construction project for the Seine-Nord Europe canal project. This meeting in particular made it possible to discuss SCSNE news and the progress of the project on Sector 1. SCSNE also took the opportunity of this time of exchange with the territories of Artois-Cambrésis to present to the participants the methodology of the work carried out with inter-municipal cooperation establishments (EPCI) within the framework of territorial development contracts.
