Presentation of hydraulic studies to representatives of the Sensee territory

The Seine Nord Europe Canal Company responded to the invitation of the president of the Local Water Commission of Sensée, Mr. Charles Beauchamp, by presenting the hydraulic studies of the project on the territory of the SAGE.

Jacques Petit, Mayor of Marquion, where the meeting was held on Tuesday evening October 16, welcomed the hundred or so participants from the CLE before leaving time for discussion.

The exchanges showed the great interest of the representatives of the territory both for the Seine-North Europe canal project, and for its integration into the hydrographic network. The first results of the studies in progress were presented, in particular the monitoring of the measurements of the piezometers (see the map opposite presenting the device for measuring the water table). All of these elements when they are finalized will be put in the environmental authorization file which will be submitted to a public inquiry.   

This exchange was a stepping stone, to be repeated as the project progresses.
