Business interest in the Seine-Nord Europe Canal construction projects is confirmed, as evidenced by the more than 200 participants at this 3rd edition of the Regional Business Meetings . This key event, organized by the Seine-Nord Europe Canal Company, took place on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the Hauts-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lille, with the participation of the Hauts-de-France Region. It provided an opportunity for the Seine-Nord Europe Canal Company and its partners to network with companies likely to participate in the project.
After a 2024 marked by several major advances on sector 1 (development of the new bed of the Oise river, construction of four bridges, launch of the works of the Montmacq-Cambronne-lès-Ribécourt lock), and by obtaining the environmental authorization on August 9 which allows the deployment of the works on the other sectors, the works of the Seine-Nord Europe Canal are accelerating in 2025.
Thus, the Seine-Nord Europe Canal Company is preparing to publish more than twenty consultations this year with a view to awarding works contracts, spread over the entire 107 kilometers of the route and detailed during the discussions.

These Regional Business Meetings were also an opportunity to confirm the Seine-Nord Europe Canal Company's commitment to maintaining a constant dialogue and moving forward together with businesses and future users of the Canal.
Participants were thus able to learn about the progress of discussions with professional federations regarding the contractual clauses of the Canal projects, as well as gain insights into the specifics of the project, the organization and scheduling of the construction site . There was also a focus on SCSNE's prevention policy, implemented through a collaborative approach with the Professional Organization for Prevention in the Building and Public Works Sector (OPPBTP).
