This Wednesday, October 8th, the third and final Canal Entreprises Morning Show of the year 2025. After Bapaume on March 11 and Valenciennes on June 5, it was to Oignies (Pas-de-Calais), that the Seine-Nord Europe Canal Company and its partners had invited the companies likely to respond to public contracts for the Canal.

These meetings, organized as part of the system Business Channel co-piloted by the Hauts-de-France Region and the Hauts-de-France CCI, are the opportunity for large companies, but also and above all for local SMEs, to discover the progress of the project, the business opportunities to be seized and the Canal Entreprises service offer (including the essential tool: CCI Business).

This last meeting was also an opportunity for the Pas-de-Calais department, as representative of the Canal Solidaire system, to present the new integrated EFI service offer (Employment – ​​Training – Integration) to the economic actors of the territory.

This service offer dedicated to awarding companies and bringing together 3 of the 5 systems of the Grand Chantier approach (Employment Channel, Training Channel et Solidarity Channel), has the following objectives:

  • To support companies in their recruitment and the application of integration clauses,
  • To ensure the adequacy between the existing training offer and the needs of companies,
  • To inform and raise public awareness about the site's employment and training opportunities.

This applies from the launch of the market until its completion.

What was the outcome of these meetings?

  • Companies, particularly SMEs, are ever more numerous,
  • Knowledge of the opportunities of the Canal construction site by the economic players in the region which is increasing day by day,
  • Constructive discussions around the tools available to businesses.
