Seize business and employment opportunities at the Seine-Nord Europe Canal site

The Seine-Nord Europe Canal project will create up to 6000 jobs at the peak of construction , including approximately 3000 people recruited specifically for the canal. These include professionals to be hired and individuals to be trained : job seekers, young people and adults in job training programs, and those undergoing career transitions. By generating numerous public works contracts worth some €3,5 billion, the Seine-Nord Europe Canal project will boost economic activity in the region. The Seine-Nord Europe Canal Major Project Management initiative, jointly led by the Regional Prefect and the President of the Hauts-de-France Region, and involving the Departments and all local partners in employment, training, job training, and economic development, allows for the anticipation and support of the canal's construction , in order to maximize its economic and social benefits . It mobilizes the economic fabric and skills of the territories, so that all inhabitants benefit during and after its implementation , thanks to the creation of sustainable jobs.
