Signature of a partnership with the chambers of agriculture

The Seine‐Nord Europe Canal is part of a territory with a strong agricultural and forestry dimension. This is why the agricultural profession has been involved since 2005 in preparing the right conditions for the construction of the Seine-Nord Europe Canal, in particular through its representative institutions, the chambers of agriculture and in accordance with the missions of these last.

On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, the SCSNE and the chambers of agriculture of the Somme, the Oise and the Nord-Pas-de-Calais signed a public-public cooperation agreement which will allow them to mobilize their respective resources in order to implement a demanding partnership between the agricultural profession and the SCSNE.

They also signed the Techno-solutions guide (downloadable below) defining technical requirements relating to the creation of deposits and their return to cultivation.
