The work is gaining momentum

Since obtaining theenvironmental authorization For the areas between Passel in Oise and Aubencheul-au-Bac in the North last summer, preliminary work for the construction of the Canal began across the entire territory. In the Noyon region, ecological developments continue with the installation of shelters and nesting boxes that will serve as temporary habitats for local wildlife.

Upstream of the release of rights of way, such as deforestation campaigns, the operations are accompanied by environmental measures in order to reduce the impacts on flora and fauna. These measures are part of the “ERC” approach for “Avoid – Reduce – Compensate” which aims to avoid impacts on natural environments, if not reduce them, and ultimately compensate for them. Many measures are thus integrated into the design and construction stages of the Canal.
