This Thursday, June 27, the members of the Environment Observatory spent the day on the route of the future Canal Seine-Nord Europe. The objective was, in about ten stages, to address the major issues in terms of landscape, biodiversity and hydraulics throughout the course. They were thus able to discover the loops of Muids, and the environmental developments of Cléry sur Somme, imagine in the landscape the location of the future lock of Noyon, the Somme canal bridge, the Louette basin, the Marquion platform , discuss the hydraulic links between the canal, the Canal du Nord, the water table and the wetlands on the site of the Ruyaulcourt tunnel and see the Tortille...
