Following the call for applications launched last summer, the scientific and technical committee of the SCSNE had its installation meeting this Friday 1er March, under the chairmanship of Geoffroy CAUDE.
Made up of three thematic commissions, the committee brings together 16 high-level experts in the field of hydraulic structures, engineering structures and locks, it sees the arrival of 10 new experts from the technical bodies of the administration or the sector. private.
During the installation session, Geoffroy CAUDE retraced the work of the scientific committee in its previous version and highlighted the recent innovations introduced by the decision of the management board relating in particular to an assessment of construction costs.
The Scientific and Technical Committee is an independent body made up of experts in the fields of design and construction of canal structures. This body advises the SCSNE board on the design of the Seine-Nord Europe canal. In particular, it decides on program modification proposals, the quality of the technical solutions, the technical optimization of the project, the construction costs, the management of construction risks and the consideration in the design of maintenance and maintenance.
