Within the framework of the different meetings offered to the inhabitants of Santerre Haute-Somme, the Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe is organizing a commented hike on July 1st in Moislains. The objective: to discover the Canal and its “in-situ” developments. You are interested ? Discover all the practical information.
The start of the hike will be at the Moislains stadium and will be punctuated by time for discussions and information on the renaturation of the Tortille, a watercourse structuring the local landscape, road restorations in the Moislains sector or management of materials and depot sites.
Two departures are offered à 10 a.m. and 14 p.m.
The route is about 5,5 km long and it takes about 2 hours to complete the route. For each departure, the number of participants is strictly limited to 30 people maximum in order to offer the best reception and safety conditions during the hike.
These hikes are free. However, to participate, registration is obligatory, from the Haute-Somme Tourist Office, partner of the operation, by telephone on +03 22 84 42 38 XNUMX or by mail accueil@hautesomme-tourisme.com
Bring good walking shoes and clothing adapted to the expected weather conditions on the day of the hike.
For organizational matters, please arrive at the starting point 15 minutes before the start of the hike.
